Do you have a wonderful tree in your garden? Or do you know of one in a park or on public land in Bayside?
If you do, you can nominate that tree to be listed on Bayside Council’s Significant Tree Register.
Any significant tree can be nominated, regardless of species, but if it’s on private land, the owner of the tree has to make the nomination.
Bayside Council’s Significant Tree Policy is here.
At the base of this page, you’ll find a link to the policy page where a simple one-page form exists. Council staff will then assess your nominated tree free of charge, to assist them in deciding whether the tree will be recommended for inclusion on the Register.
Magnificent trees abound in Beaumaris, yet sadly very few are listed on the Register. Help preserve our leafy green environment for everyone to enjoy.
BCS is happy to help you with the Significant Tree Register process, feel free to get in contact.
