| Committee announced that it intended co-opting the services of Mrs. Margot Carroll as Assistant Secretary as Secretary had limited time. | |
| Re Trees in Dalgetty Rd. | Mr. (John) Carroll suggested that trees be planted at 30 foot centres with smaller subsidiary random growth e.g. groups of tea trees, sheokes & wattles with smaller natives surrounding them. |
| It was suggested that the Parents’ and Citizens’ Association recommend Council revoke permit for second tennis court so area may be planted with trees & tennis court be made on Council land planned by Parents & Citizens in Bodley St. area. | |
| Working bees were discussed to be organized at a later date for foreshore near Sparks St. and for Jackson’s corner near Rennison St. (Council help on week days suggested) | |
| The question of notifying all financial members of meetings was raised. Impracticable because of cost & low financial situation of Society – for same reason decision to carry subscription over for following year was revoked & subscriptions are now due. | |
