Re Trees
in Dalgetty Rd
.
Mr. (John)
Carroll suggested that trees be planted at 30 foot centres
with smaller subsidiary random growth e.g. groups of tea
trees, sheokes & wattles with smaller natives
surrounding them.

It was suggested that the Parents’ and Citizens’
Association recommend Council revoke permit for second
tennis court so area may be planted with trees &
tennis court be made on Council land planned by Parents & Citizens in Bodley St.
area.

Working bees were discussed to be organized at a later
date for foreshore near Sparks St. and for Jackson’s
corner near Rennison St. (Council help on week days
suggested)

The question of notifying all
financial members of meetings was raised. Impracticable
because of cost & low financial situation of Society –
for same reason decision to carry subscription over for
following year was revoked & subscriptions are now
due.
