Presidents
Report:
(attached) was
read
by the President,
Mr K. (Kenneth)
Rendell.
Commenting
on the report, Mrs (Sue)
McDougall
and Mr K. (Keith)
Tarrant said
they
had attended the meeting on Oct. 1st with regards to the
resiting of
the
Sea Scouts boatshed (1g). Mrs (Sue)
McDougall advised the meeting that an adjournment had
been granted
until
December. Mr K. (Keith)
Tarrant
further
advised that this would give both parties time to
co-operate and
possibly
reach a compromise prior to the hearing in
December. 
 

Mrs S. (Sue)
McDougall,
once again commenting on the report, Part 2, proposed
that
articles
about birds, flora and history of the area, previously
prepared by the
Society, if reprinted and possibly updated, may be of
some use to the
Society
for distribution to members & the public. This
proposal was seconded by G. (Geoffrey) Goode.
 

A motion to discuss Mrs (Sue)
McDougall’s proposal be discussed at the next meeting
was moved by G.
(Geoffrey)
Goode, seconded by M.
Taylor, carried.
 
 

Treasurer’s
Report
:
Read by Mr (Alfred) Gilford who
informed the meeting that the Society had
a bank
balance of $260.48 at the 10:0:74. Moved by
B. David, seconded by K. (Keith)
Tarrant,
that the report be received, carried. 
 

 
Election of

Browne,
seconded

M. Taylor, carried.


The President then announced that three
films on
Conservation
& Pollution would be shown and that supper would be
served
afterwards;
all present were invited. He then closed the meeting at
9.35 p.m.
