minutes of the 25th A.G.M. be confirmed.
 
 
Constitution:The following amendments

to
the Constitution were carried unanimously:
 

Resolved ( [Geoffrey]
Goode/[June] Stewart)
that the
last
sentence of Clause 4 be amended to read ‘The quorum at
a general
meeting
shall be five members or one half of the membership
whichever is the
less.’
 

Resolved ([Geoffrey] Goode/[June] Stewart) that a
further sentence be added to Clause 6
to read
‘The quorum at a Committee meeting shall be three
Committee members or
one half of the Committee members whichever is the
less.’
 

Resolved ([Geoffrey]
Goode/[Kenneth] Rendell)
that
Clause
9 be amended to read ‘This Constitution may not be
amended except by a
majority vote at a postal ballot of members or at a
general meeting of
which four weeks’ notice in writing has been sent to
members.’

Tarrant/Cook) that this 26th AGM of the Beaumaris
Conservation Society
endorse the decision of the Executive to take action in
removing
coastal
tea tree from the Gramatan Avenue Reserve on the advice
of Dr Jim
Willis.
 
 
Reserve Road:Resolved ([Geoffrey] Goode/[June] Stewart)
that
the Society write to Sandringham Council asking it to
effect a natural
style of planting of indigenous species using the whole
width or part
of
the width of the road verge along the Golf Links
frontage of Reserve
and
Cheltenham Roads south of the Municipal Golf Links.

Society supports the objection being lodged by G.Goode
against the
appeal
over Sandringham Council’s decision to disallow the
proposed
redevelopment
