*	STONECROP RE-INFESTATION: The Bushland Crew of Bayside City Council’s contractor, Citywide, has meticulously removed a re-infestation of Stonecrop (Sedum sp.) on the foreshore just south of the top of the ramp opposite Tramway Parade, Beaumaris.

*	MRS JOAN MACRAE: Joan Macrae, nee McIntosh, BCS Inc. Life Member since 1997, resident with a bush garden in the unkerbed part of Point Avenue from 1949, and widow of BCS Inc’s Second President, Colin Macrae, died on 2017-09-18 at the age of 99.
*	MRS JOAN PALMER: Joan, of Rosemary Road, Beaumaris, a BCS Inc. member since 1996 – and mother of Sue Raverty, BCS Inc’s Facebook Manager – died on 2017-09-03 at the age of 91.

*	CONCOURSE GREEN THREATENED: BCS Inc. has six major concerns with the Draft Master Plan proposals for the Concourse.
*	VACANCY FILLED: The Committee has elected Ms Annie Price as Acting Zone 6 Leader to replace the late Adrian Cerbasi.
*	ARTICLE IN THE AGE ON TREE REMOVAL: BCS Inc’s President wrote of excessive, unnecessary tree loss at the College site.
